366TAS: 4:51 – Robyn – Dancing on My Own

Sweden has given the world a number of notable things: the Nobel Prize, IKEA and quirky pop music being three of its great exports. Like her contemporaries, Lykke Li and Peter, Bjorn and John, Robyn follows in the footsteps of the likes of ABBA, Roxette and the Cardigans as prime examples of Swedish pop.

Youtube has plenty of clips of Robyn performing live, including her performance from the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony and another that features a bunch of Robyn’s unique dancing style, including a rolling backflip on SNL. But I love this live version of “Dancing on My Own” from Letterman because of the synchronized drummers in the background that kinda steal the show.
