366TAS: 4:05 – Little Boots – Earthquake

Who would have guessed that in my (admittedly brief) time living in San Francisco, I would experience no earthquakes, but while working in Washington, DC, I would feel two? Or maybe that’s three if you count being rocked by Little Boots and the standout track from her 2009 debut album, Hands. Little Boots (aka: Victoria Heskith) has her sophomore album coming out sometime this year, but unlike Sleigh Bells and the Shins, it isn’t coming out the same week I’m posting one of her earlier efforts. Ah well, the calendar isn’t always going to work out so conveniently for me, but once you start listening to “Earthquake”, you’ll be dancing around in your socks and ready to go when she drops a new record. Consider yourself warned. On both fronts.

I’ve got a hair metal number with some swagger, Warrant’s “Down Boys”:
